I love building things. Websites are one of the things I love building, but I love building physical things too. Building a business is something I’ve dreamed of for years. What would a web design business count as? Clearly, not being a physical item or a traditional brick and mortar business but an online one. I don’t think it’ll make it easy, despite having the skills.
Now that I’ve finished my degrees (at least for now), so why not start a business? It doesn’t matter that they’re not related, because I’ve made websites and coded for 20+ years and my degrees are related only to my day job.
I’ll need to consider time, finance and sustainability at a minimum. I want to give something to others who want to build. It’s time, and this is a business I am allowed to build within the confines of my contract.
Sometimes the darker moments can indeed bring a slither of light at the end of the tunnel. Thank goodness for moving forward.
