Exercise Day 3 – A 3rd Moment Documented

It is one thing is exercising a first or second time on the weekend. It is quite another exercising after a full day of work.

My schedule today was interesting. As soon as I got home from work, I knew that my shopping would be delivered in about 50 minutes or so.

I had the perfect window for 10 minutes of gym and a shower, and that’s what I did.

After this, I prepared a lovely dinner of baked fish, stir-fry, two baked baby potatoes each and edamame. For dessert, we had an orange (shared between us both) and an iceblock each.

My food today was perfect, really. I still have 420 calories spare.

I am aware of everything that I am eating because even that 10 minutes at the gym everyday is feeling like exercise, and my muscles hurt as a reminder of why I should be good.

It did feel good after I exercised, I listened to uplifting music as I cooked and danced. I was super productive because I also did a bunch of chores, which is useful to do on a Monday night as opposed to the weekend.

The verdict so far is that I am enjoying my 10 minutes a day, but I can see how it could get annoying too. I also feel guilty about the prospect of going to pilates for 1 hour instead of the gym, even though I try really hard in that class. Perhaps I’ll do both; but perhaps giving the gym a rest for 1 day is a good idea. Who knows, let’s see what happens tomorrow.

Overall, I am pleased because I’ve had bouts of positive energy and productivity. My body is feeling pain (muscles and joints especially), but who knows how sore my joints would be without it.

Anyway, signing off for the moment – let’s see what transpires tomorrow.
