2018 Donation Journey, Continued

I think it is time to update my Gift of Charity Post progress, so here goes:

1. Donating my FlyBuys points. $35 in 2018 so far. Arguably this only gives a tax deduction to FlyBuys, but that’s fine because I will keep shopping at Coles Supermarkets and collecting these points (and not using them in a more productive manner).
2. Donating blood.  Awaiting next donation time. I donated once this year, and as it was a whole blood donation, can only do so every 3 months.
3. Share the dignity. $120 so far. I donated hard cash for women in difficult situations.
4. $20 donation to the Garvan Institute of Medical Research. This is the only tax-deductible donation this year so far.
5. Time. 30 hours to small business owners. 
6. $20 non-deductible donation.

Total of $20 + $20 + $120 + $35 + Time + Blood = $195 plus time and blood.
