Note to you: I recommend listening to Steve Roach if you want to relax, ever.
Note to both of us: do not even *think* about donating blood while sick!
In some countries, you not only not get paid to donate blood; but you must also ensure that you are not sick. I have the slight misfortune of the common cold, so have unfortunately had to reschedule my appointment to the near future, during which time I hope I will not be too sniffly and headachy to donate. What a bummer! Oh well, next time.
June Donation
I’m not sure if this will be my last for this financial year (which ends on June 30, by the way), but I have donated $26 as a tax deductible donation to a charity that supports dementia. This means that my total for the year is $286. Although it could be much better, it could also be much worse. Yay.
Amazing Free Resources for Baby Developers
I love to share. Whether it’s giving my blood, or money (not the two together, I assure you), I just love it. I have been playing with some fun courses, and some of these include:
Dash by General Assembly: an amazing (albeit very beginner) course for anyone who wishes to learn some basic HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript. I am not going to lie, this one is probably my favourite beginner course and is fantastic to upgrade your skills from older HTML and CSS styles if you need to do so like I did.
If you’re looking for a little bit of direction, the Google Developer Training site can help you decide on a direction of courses that you might want to take.
That’s all folks. Lovely image by Xenia Bogarova from Unsplash.
